Bringing him back to his childhood on grandpas farm. |
hiii. Sorry about last week. nagmamadali kasi kami noon. (We were in a
hurry)
Anyway we went to Philippine Carabao Center today and took a tour of
the milking place, I'll send some pictures later. haha. nakakatrunky! (frustrating trunky) show the pictures to grandpa I think he will
enjoy them

I don’t know why but today I was
super nahihirapan sa fasting ko.(difficult to fast) I almost considered going
home early from church because I was so hungry but I'm glad I didn’t. We went
to Linglingay today and only 15 people came to church. wala nang pagasa doon.
(no hope there) After church Teody and
Baldo worked with us, almost everyone said no. For dinner we ate pinakbet nang
may guavano at langka

Today was the last P-day for Elder
Retaga and Quilauil, nakakalungkot! (what a pity) we played basketball, went
biking at CLSU, then milka krem! I saw a Joe today, it was weird. Generally I avoid
them because its... awkward. Usually, they come to the PHilippines for the
following reasons:
1. They're hiding from the law in
their homeland
2. They met a Filipina on some
sketchy social network site like MySpace or Friendster and then moved here
3. They're on a business trip (this
is rare outside of Manila)
4. They’ve reached their
"Golden Years" and haven't found a wife yet.
We had FHE at President Pajaritos
house; we ate bangus and fried chicken.
Time goes by so fast it frightens
me. Eka ni President Martino: "I quake at the thought of how quickly time
slips away"

In December of 2011, Elder Nicholes
became the zone leader in Camiling Zone, and only had three months left in his
mission. I remember thinking: "I'm so jealous. Can't he and I trade
place?" But now that I have only three months, I'd give anything to stay
for another year or two. Tonight we talked to a guy who said his wife was a
caterer, so I made a joke and said sometime we'd eat dinner at his house
because his wife is a good cook. From the way he was acting he might have been
a bit drunk, but regardless he walked into his house and when he came outside
again he gave us pancit canton and an orange. sobrang weird ang bansang ito

This morning we had DDM in San
Anton. I don’t ever want to leave Munoz, because Elder Bellen and I have
labored for 7 weeks with little progress, but now we're finally seeing results.
We met an old lady washing her car, she was 83 years old. She seemed to be
about half way done and told us she'd been washing it for about 2 hours.
matiyaga naman!

Tinatamad talaga kami kaninang
umaga. (We had an early morning) This afternoon we tracted in a place called
"Tobiasville". The first thing I thought of was Arrested Development.
napakayaman ang tao doon! sana hindi ako malilipat!! (Very wealthy people
there)

This morning we had a CSP in
Linglingay and unexpected exchanges because of a baptismal interview we didn’t
know about. Elder Illustrisimo worked with me in Munoz today. At 4:30pm we were
out of appointments, so we went tracting.
thanks for emailing him. Our time is up. I love you@!
